Last updated June 18, 2026

At PadSplit, we believe in giving you control over your finances. Here's how you can personalize your payment schedule:

Flexible Options

  • Choose between weekly or biweekly payments
  • Select the day of the week that works best for you

How to Change Your Schedule

To change your payment schedule from the one you selected during booking:

  1. Log into your Member Dashboard
  2. Navigate to the "Finances" tab
  3. Scroll to the “Your dues” section
  4. Click on "Edit payment period”

Important Notes

  • You will have to have a balance of $0 to make this change
  • You will need to pay for any prorated days between your old and new schedule (or example, changing from Sunday to Saturday requires pre-paying 6 days)
  • You will not be able to make another payment schedule change for another 30 days
:warning: When does a frequency change take effect? When changing from biweekly to weekly frequency, the change will take effect immediately. If you are changing from weekly to biweekly, the exact timing depends on your current invoice status:
  • If the invoice for your upcoming dues has already been generated: Your upcoming payment will remain weekly. The biweekly schedule will not take effect until the following billing cycle.
  • If your upcoming dues have not yet been invoiced: The biweekly change will take effect immediately for this upcoming dues day.

Note: A frequency change will never allow you to skip an upcoming dues day.

Why This Matters

Customizing your payment schedule allows you to align your housing costs with your income, making budgeting easier and reducing financial stress.

Remember, finding the right payment rhythm can make a big difference in your financial well-being. Take advantage of this flexibility to create a schedule that works best for you!
