Meet Nick Bowers, National Account Executive

August 25, 2022

Over the past four years, PadSplit has grown from a handful of team members to more than 100 fully-remote employees located across more than a dozen countries.

Our new Employee Spotlight Series will help you get to know the employees committed to helping solve the affordable housing crisis.

Meet Nick Bowers, National Account Executive at PadSplit

The PadSplit team is entirely remote. Tell us where you’re based.

Colorado Springs, CO

When did you join the PadSplit team?

I’m one of the newer team members of the Sales team, and I joined the team in April. I love the mission statement and leadership of the company. There is a massive demand for affordable housing and aligning the market with investor returns is rewarding.

What is your favorite core value? Why?

Intellectual Curiosity. Challenging yourself to solve unique problems with creative solutions is a great skill to sharpen.

Tell us what a day in the life of your role looks like.

I start my day at 7 a.m. With coffee in hand, I check Slack for company-wide updates and work through the calendar to map out a plan for the day. I follow up with leads, prospect new leads, and connect with investors to share the benefits of PadSplit. I love to grow relationships within and outside the company to ensure success. I look ahead to the next day, outline my priorities, and align the rest of the week.

What are you working on that you are most excited about? Why?

Expanding into new markets is extremely exciting. Learning how we can implement the process, adapt to regional changes, and grow the PadSplit platform keeps me energized.

How do you stay engaged with your team in a remote environment? What does collaboration look like in a remote environment?

We are in constant contact through multiple channels. It’s easy to reach your co-worker, and they are more than willing to help or point you in the right direction, which is especially helpful when you’re a new employee in an all-remote environment.

In our weekly All Hands meeting as an ice breaker, we ask new employees to share two truths and a lie about themselves for the team to guess. Let’s play with you. Tell us two truths and a lie about yourself.

I’ve been in a hot air balloon crash.

I despise sushi.

I have twin daughters.

Thanks for sharing more about what you do, Nick! Stay connected with Nick and PadSplit on LinkedIn.
