PadSplit Member Referral Program – Terms & Conditions

1. Program Overview

The PadSplit Member Referral Program (the “Program”) allows eligible PadSplit members (“Referrers”) to earn PadSplit account credits for referring new individuals (“Friends”) who successfully become PadSplit members. By participating, Referrers and Friends agree to these Terms.

PadSplit may administer, interpret, modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time in its sole discretion.

2. Eligibility

Referrers. Referrers must be current PadSplit members in good standing. “Good standing” generally means having no past-due financial balance owed to PadSplit and no active or unresolved Member Behavior notices or violations.

Friends. Friends, also known as "Referral Recipient” must be new, first-time PadSplit applicants who have never previously held or started a PadSplit account or application.

Self-Referrals. Self-referrals are strictly prohibited. This includes referrals involving alternate email addresses, aliases, linked accounts, shared households, or any other attempt to circumvent Program eligibility.

3. Qualifying Referrals

A referral qualifies only if all of the following conditions are satisfied, as determined by PadSplit in its sole discretion: 

1) Tracking. The Friend applies using the Referrer’s unique referral link; 

2) Approval. The Friend is approved for PadSplit membership; 

3) Booking. The Friend books and moves into a PadSplit home within ninety (90) days of first using the referral link; 

4) Tenure. The Friend remains in an active PadSplit home for at least fourteen (14) consecutive days.

PadSplit determines referral eligibility using its internal tracking systems and records. Unverified, disputed, or incomplete referrals are not eligible for rewards, and PadSplit’s determination is final.

4. Rewards and Limits

Referral rewards are provided solely as PadSplit account credits and have no cash value. Reward amounts and availability may change at any time. Rewards are non-transferable and cannot be applied to account balance at termination or involuntary move-out. No payout or cash value of unused credits. 

Individual Cap. A Referrer may earn rewards for a maximum of ten (10) qualifying referrals per calendar year.

Aggregate Cap. Total referral rewards may not exceed $2,500 in aggregate value per Referrer at any time. In the event of a conflict between the number of referrals and the aggregate value (including during promotional increases), the $2,500 cap controls. 

Issuance. No reward is earned, vested, or owed unless and until it is issued to the Referrer’s PadSplit account. PadSplit may withhold, reverse, or claw back rewards issued in error or obtained through misuse or violation of these Terms.

5. Prohibited Conduct

Referrers may not:

• Refer individuals with whom they share finances or linked financial accounts.
• Refer individuals who are occupying the same residence as the Referrer at the time of referral, or with whom the Referrer shares a room, household, or financial arrangement at any time before or after the referral.
• Publicly post referral links on coupon sites, mass-solicitation forums (including Reddit or other websites), or through paid advertising (such as Google Ads). Posting referral links on personal social media profiles for friends and followers is permitted.
• Imply an affiliate, employment, agency, or representative relationship with PadSplit.
• Engage in any conduct designed to circumvent, manipulate, or abuse the Program or PadSplit membership process.

Violation of this Section may result in immediate disqualification and forfeiture of any pending or issued rewards.

6. No Affiliate or Agency Relationship

This Program is a consumer referral program only. Participation does not create any partnership, agency, employment, or affiliate relationship between PadSplit and any Referrer or Friend. Referrers have no authority to bind or speak on behalf of PadSplit.

7. Program Changes and Termination

PadSplit may modify or terminate the Program at any time, with or without notice. Referrals made after termination are not eligible for rewards. Participation in the Program does not create any expectation of continued participation or future rewards.

8. Legal Terms

The Program is offered “as is” and “as available.” PadSplit disclaims all liability for lost, delayed, withheld, or unissued rewards. PadSplit may revoke or reverse rewards issued as a result of fraud, misuse, or violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
