Can I cancel my scheduled transfer?

This article explains how to cancel a scheduled room transfer on PadSplit, what your options are, and what fees apply.

 

Can I cancel a transfer I've already scheduled?

Yes — you can cancel a scheduled transfer directly from your dashboard. What happens next depends on whether you want to stay at your current property or move out entirely.

 

What are my options if I cancel a transfer?

There are two scenarios when cancelling a transfer:

  • You want to stay at your current property (extend your stay) — If you'd like to remain in your current room instead of transferring, simply cancel your transfer through your Member dashboard and send your Host a message to let them know you'll be staying. 
  • You want to cancel the transfer and move out — If you no longer want to transfer but also do not wish to remain at your current property, first cancel the transfer and then begin the move-out process. You can cancel your transfer and schedule your move-out through your dashboard. 

 

Is there a fee to cancel a transfer?

Yes. A $25 administrative fee applies to all transfer cancellations, regardless of the reason or which option you choose.

 

What happens to my booking and move-in fees if I cancel?

If you cancel your transfer, you will receive a refund of your booking and move-in fees within 8–13 days. Please note that the $25 cancellation fee will be charged upon processing.

 

Where do I go to cancel my transfer?

You can cancel your transfer directly from your PadSplit dashboard. Here's how:

  1. Log in to your PadSplit account and go to your Dashboard.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page until you see the "Cancel room transfer" section.
  3. Click the "Cancel room transfer" button to proceed.

⚠️ If you want to change your transfer date rather than cancel, do not use this button. Instead, contact the Support team at support@padsplit.com or by phone at (770) 373-7863 to request a date change.
