Proof of Residency & Letter of Recommendation Requests

PadSplit offers two documents to support your housing journey: a Membership Agreement for proof of residency and a Letter of Recommendation for eligible Members. Here's how to access them.

Membership Agreement 

Your Membership Agreement serves as proof of residency at your PadSplit and is available to all Members. You can access and download it directly from your dashboard at any time during your stay.

To download your Membership Agreement:

  1. Go to Profile > Settings > Registration
  2. Scroll down to the Membership Agreement section
  3. Download your Membership Agreement and/or addendum

Letter of Recommendation 

The Letter of Recommendation is separate from your Membership Agreement. It affirms that you have demonstrated a consistent commitment to PadSplit's community values. Unlike the Membership Agreement, the Letter of Recommendation is only available to eligible Members.

Eligibility requirements: You're eligible for a Letter of Recommendation if you:

  • Have a positive payment history with no outstanding balances
  • Maintain a Member Score of 3 or above
  • Are currently an active Member, or moved out within the last 90 days
  • Have never been banned or evicted from a PadSplit home

Planning your next move? We recommend downloading your Letter of Recommendation before moving out and keeping a copy for future reference. Check your eligibility early so you're prepared.

To download your Letter of Recommendation: 

  1. Go to Profile > Settings > Registration
  2. Scroll down to the Letter of Recommendation section
  3. Select the correct occupancy, and click ‘download letter’

Don't see the Letter of Recommendation section? This document only appears once all eligibility requirements have been met.
