The Gold Key Host designation recognizes PadSplit hosts and operators who consistently deliver high-quality experiences for members. It's our way of acknowledging hosts who go above and beyond — and helping members find the best rooms on the platform.
If you qualify, your listings will carry the Gold Key Host badge, giving prospective members a clear signal of quality.
Gold Key Hosts receive:
Qualification is automatic — there's no application. PadSplit evaluates your performance quarterly using a trailing 12-month window. To earn or keep Gold Key Host status, your portfolio must meet all four of the following criteria:
1. Move-In Rating
Your portfolio average move-in rating must be 4.5 or higher.
2. Stay Reviews
Your average mid-stay satisfaction score must be 4.0 or higher. You also must have at least 3 responses in the trailing 12 months.
3. Room Activity
At least 80% of your mature rooms must have had at least one occupancy in the past 90 days. A "mature" room is one activated 90 or more days ago. Rooms activated fewer than 90 days ago are excluded from this calculation.
4. Booking Rejection Rate
Your booking rejection rate must be 25% or lower over the trailing 12 months.
Status is assessed quarterly, using the previous 12 months of data. At the beginning of each quarter, PadSplit will email every active host. If you qualify, your email will confirm your Gold Key Host status. If you don't qualify yet, your email will show how your portfolio performed on each criterion so you know exactly where to focus.

PadSplit retains the right to revoke your Gold Key Host status. Violations of our Host Code of Conduct may result in immediate removal of Gold Key Host status, outside the normal quarterly cycle.
If you're already a Gold Key Host and add a new property to your portfolio, the Gold Key Host badge will appear on that listing right away provided that you are listed as the Primary Operator of that property. Status is tied to the Primary Operator, not to individual properties.
