Can I change my move-in date? Yes! You can request to change your move-in date. Your Host must approve the request for the change to take effect. Sending a request does not guarantee it will be approved. 

 

How do I request to change my move-in date? You can send your request in two ways: From your dashboard or through the Host chat.

Can I request an earlier move-in date? Yes, you can request to change your move-in to as early as today. Your Host has until 7PM EST the day of your requested move-in date to approve the request. 

We recommend submitting your request as early as possible so your Host has time to review it. If you would like to change your move-in date to today, you must submit your request before 7PM EST today. Your Host will have until 7PM EST to approve it. 
 

Can I request a later move-in date? Yes, you can request to push out your move-in day by up to 2 weeks. Your Host has until 7PM the day before your currently scheduled move-in date to approve the request. 

 

Does it cost extra to change my move-in date? In some cases, you may be charged for the additional days of stay. Any charges will be clearly shown on the “change my move-in” screen before you submit your request. 

 

How will I know the status of my request? 

  • If your Host approves the request: you'll receive confirmation in inside the PadSplit messenger and receive an updated booking confirmation e-mail. 
  • If your Host denies the request: you'll receive notice inside the PadSplit messenger, and your move-in day will remain the same.
