At PadSplit, we're committed to making quality housing accessible. Our income verification process is designed to be flexible and accommodating to various financial situations. Here's how we work with you to find your perfect PadSplit home:
Self Employed
If you're self-employed, there are several ways to complete your income verification:
-
Automatic verification with Plaid: Connect your bank account securely through Plaid, and it will automatically detect your recurring income
-
Document Upload: Submit income documentation for our team to review. PadSplit accepts the following documents:
-
Self-employment income: Three months of official Lyft/Uber or other payout statements with your name and dates, or three months of bank statements showing income deposits.
-
Bank statements: From the past 30 days, with all pages that show income deposits. Each statement should include your name, your payer's name, and the statement date.
Note that documents must be submitted in their original PDF format, with no cropping. Screenshots will not be accepted.
Unemployed
Not currently employed or unable to provide income documentation? You can still complete your membership application with a prepayment.
- You can choose the prepayment option during the income verification step of your application.
- Please contact documents@padsplit.com if you want to find out more about our prepayment options.
